Overview
My research focuses on ultracold atoms in optical lattices, with an emphasis on quantum simulation, diffusion dynamics, and transport in interacting many-body systems.
Transport dynamics
I study how particles move, diffuse, and relax in engineered optical lattice potentials. We start by cooling down bosonic Rubidium 87 atoms to nanoKelvin temperatures, where they form a Bose-Einstein Condensate(BEC). We then load our BEC into an 3D optical lattice and start doing new science.
